About the White Rocks Hotel

Back in 1858, Conte Nicollo Annino, acquired Platis Gialos and the surrounding area and grew robola vines at the rocky slopes of the hills, surrounding the bay. In 1966, more than a hundrend years later, the concept of a luxury hotel above the panoramic bay was conceived by his grandchildren. By 1974, the  property was still owned by the Annino family, and the brand new White Rocks Hotel & Bungalows welcomed its first customers. The complex was designed by Nikos Valsamakis,a young award winning contemporary architect who marked with his work the evolution of contemporary Greek architecture. From 2009 to 2012  the White Rocks Hotel and Bungalows underwent a major renovation which revamped the 1973 vintage interiors into one of the most elegant and  contemporary  Beach Hotels in Greece. The hotel is now managed by the fourth generation of the Anninos family and still conveys the vision of understated luxury, attentive service whith  an emphasis on relaxation and chilling out.
